RIYADH: A two-day Investment Conference is beginning here today in the capital city of Saudi Arabia in collaboration with the Pakistan Investment Board, Saudi finance ministry, Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA) and Saudi Chambers Council, where Pakistan delegation will be headed by the Federal Finance Minister, Naveed Qamar.
The conference basically aims at boosting bilateral economic and trade ties and promoting investment among the traders and industrialists of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
Pakistan Ambassador in Saudi Arabia, Shahid Karimullah told Geo News that the conference would mainly focus on the possibilities of embarking on joint ventures in agriculture, dairy farming, fisheries, food processing, cold storage, manufacturing, power houses especially coal fired, textile and other sectors. He said that over 137 traders and industrialists delegation from Pakistan headed by Federal Minister, Naveed Qamar is participating in the conference.
