Daisy the buffalo joins Jody Scheckter’s prancing horse
Jody Scheckter, the South African former Formula One motor racing champion,
had Daisy from his 1,500-strong buffalo herd at his side when he presented
his organic mozzarella at L’Anima restaurant in West London. He also had
with him his 1979 championship-winning Ferrari. Scheckter, a self-acclaimed
foodie and health fanatic, whose organic farm in Hampshire won praise from
the chef Raymond Blanc, said: “If you put chemicals into soil, you are
putting them into yourself. The best thing is to follow nature – it
simplifies all the science.”
