Three Billy Elliott stars set for Tony Awards record
The three teenagers who share the title role in Billy Elliot, The Musical on
Broadway were nominated for a Tony yesterday. Sir Elton John’s version of
the 2000 film received 15 nominations, equalling the record set by Mel
Brooks’s The Producers in 2001.
